about the portrait session…

Honour has been a professional portrait photographer since 1998.

She offers film photography when working with her subjects. She believes the deliberate nature of using a film camera lends to her best portrait work.

Prior to the portrait, a consultation is done to discuss wardrobe, ideas, and place. This can be done over the phone or email.

Sessions may take place at the photographer’s studio on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, MI, or on location (anywhere).

On the session date, clients need to plan on at least 1.5 hours of time.

For each session, please allow approx. 3 weeks to receive the following…

Photographic prints, somewhere around 10 images in a custom folio.

Larger prints and high-res digital files can be purchased a la carte. In cases of travel, necessary fees will be quoted. Portrait sessions are mainly for 1 to 2 persons. If more than 2, additional fees may also be needed to cover additional film. Pets are of course welcome! Starting rate $250.00
